A Jack Bag

A friend asked if I could create a gift bag for a 14" Texas-shaped bread board as a farewell gift for a coworker who is leaving. My first thought was to use papers from the Jack collection, but I wasn't sure how I wanted to design it. I eventually created a 14.5" bag with 1" gussets. For the trim, I used the reverse side of the patterned paper on the upper portion of the bag and added a border cut from the Happy Die Set. To conceal where I had seamed the papers together, I added a decorative border strip down both the front and back of the bag. Since the recipient is moving on to a new opportunity, I finished the project with a farewell sentiment accented from my Lucky Hot Foil. I was really pleased with how it came together and how perfectly it fit the Texas-shaped bread board.
