Fern Mor Sweater Pattern

I love the Fern Mor Pattern. It knitted up quickly. Top down made it so easy to accurately gauge the length. The fit was exactly what I wanted. Love the slight fitting around the waist which avoids the boxy look.

I enjoyed the knit. I got confused between main and contrast and ordered the wrong colour way. However now it is finished it has worked out really well. The yoke took a bit of time but the rest knitted up really fast. I always have trouble with sleeve length so I have finally learnt to knit most of the length and finish it off at the very end. Why didn’t I think of that before! As I have some leftover I might add pockets to the rib but I have other projects on the go so it may be next winter!

Lovely design. The basic design for this sweater is similar to the Yew Mor sweater, only the yoke pattern is different. I absolutely love my Yew More sweater and wear it all the time. Will be the same for this design I am sure. Will knit it also with Deas yarn as this yarn is light, soft and warm. And very little pilling due to the mohair content. Absolutely recommended!
