Colby + Yamamoto - 3mm Hooded Chest Zip Fullsuit

Great suit

This suit has all the features you need. Seams are glued (lower body—outside) and taped (upper body, inside). Yamamoto neoprene is silky smooth super comfortable. I’m 5’11” 175lbs and the large short fits well. Definitely a touch extra room which is fine, makes getting in and out easier on the suit’s seams. Saw the water temperature go down to 57 last winter in the South Bay (LA) and I expect this will be perfect for the chilliest days here with the hood. First surf with it in January was plenty warm on an overcast morning. Great suit for a great price!

Comfortable fit, good flexibility and excellent warmth!

3 mill hooded

3 mill is not warm enough when there is offshore wind early am even when the the water is somewhat warm in the Santa Barbara area. 3 mill does not cut wind, so is not much warmer than 3/2 rip curl dawn patrol with squid lid. the 4/3 hooded Colby + is plenty warm in those conditions.
