Awful First Experience With Stoke Beans and Delivery Delay

So far, I have opened just the Stoke. The beans were extremely dark, some of them on the verge of black. The resulting coffee was very difficult to dial in because it is extremely bitter. However, even the resulting ground coffee was dark grey. I have a ECM Synchronika II with a Eureka Atom W65 grinder that I am practised with, and from which I have had great results with some competitors coffee so I contacted my referring coffee club friend who said this was unusual. Hope the second bag of Stoke is better. There was an almost 3 week delay from the date of order to the date the coffee arrived. I would be very happy to hear that the reason for this is that fire Bean is very busy, which means it has a good product, but so far I cannot say the same.

Good starter set

These was a good starter set as an introductionto this brand. I prefer the darker roasts for sure but all of the beans were good. Definitelynotoce the 'smokey'natureofthebeans and finditto my taste.

Great Coffee!

So far we have only tried the Blaze Medium Roast. The package says “Balanced and Smooth”, I am in total agreement with those descriptive words! Wonderful flavour and no weird after taste. Simply a great cup of coffee! Have to mention the grind also, ground to the perfect size. I will definitely be a loyal customer!
