Great pillow to sleep on.

Not at all what I wanted

While I love the all-cotton pillow in 'firm' I got from Pure Living this cover I got for it was a different story. It is stiff, very thick and negated everything I loved about the pillow that was wonderful. I used it one night & took it off, very disappointed. While this cover is well made out of very substantial cotton it is not an appropriate weight or fabric for a pillow cover. It is more akin to a boat tarp or a tarp for your backyard grill. Also, the opening in this pillow cover is slightly shorter than the cover itself making it all but impossible to insert my pillow into it. It ripped a bit. My Pure Living pillow is 'firm' and does not bend or fold so I could not bend or fold it to insert it into this insert. This insert reminded me of the horrible plastic pillow covers my allergist made my mother cover my pillows in when I was a child -- noisy, stiff, and altogether not encouraging of sleep.

Organic Pillows

Because of chemical allergies I have to buy organic, so I've had a few different pillows of the years. This is by far my favorite. Nice and firm, filled well with cotton. I got the standard medium fill. The pillows are filled so well I might try the soft one next time. This is coming from a person who likes the pillow to be a bit firm. Well worth the price. It's a better quality that 3 other brands that I have purchased. Will buy again from this company.
