Not too long. Not too short.
Perfect length - leash does not drag on the ground. Really like the hand grip that unfastens to be able to put around a pole or door handle. Great idea.

Great Length even for my 5lb Chihuahua!!
Very happy with this leash!! I love the length!! Nice and light and nice soft handle too and able to secure to a pole/chair/small tree you name it it will work!!

Why is the hand leash the way it is?
I have done business with Goody for years, I like there products! On the Escape free sport leash that I bought. I don't understand why they made it to click to close the hand part? Why didn't they make it sewn together, like a normal leash? Am I missing something here? Also another problem with the Escape sport harness goes....which I bought also. Twice my dog collar has slipped backwards going down his back, Without being active, like on the front porch! Yes , I did measure before buying. I'm glad that I wasn't walking my dog with that on, I Would of lost the dog going down the road, Heart Broken and couldn't get him! Thank You, for listening to me. Debbie R.
