Red Photochromic Visor for Alpinestars R10 / R7

This is a worthless transition lens. It barely does anything at all. I left my helmet sitting out on my bike in full direct sunlight for like an hour and you can still see right though it. The mirror effect does nothing at all. And it has pretty much no tint at all. You would still need to wear sunglasses with this visor. It is maybe just a hint darker than a clear visor but its almost the same. If you bring it in the shade you can kind of get some of the mirror effect but in full sunlight it has no mirror effect at all. It is pretty much false advertising really. Considering it doesnt hide your face which is why we buy mirrored visors and it offers zero sun protection for your eyes at all and pretty much had almost zero trasition as well. I would say its not worth $50 let alone the $200 they are charging. Stay away from this one and just stick to a regular non transition visor. Its a shame as i had high hopes for this visor.

Visor looks great but has a small scratch on the outside lens.
