Worth the Investment

My mother-in-law gifted us this chair off of our baby registry, and it was such a gift to start enjoying it even during my pregnancy. The heat and massage are the best feeling after a long day, and even my husband uses it to help with his back pain! We can’t wait to cuddle and feed our little baby in it after she’s born!

I love the look of the chair and the material—it’s comfortable and very well made. What I wish were better is the massage feature. During the Black Friday sale, they offered 20% off $2,000, so after also purchasing a crib and mattress, the chair came out to around $1,200. Because of that, the extra $200 for the massage and heat upgrade wasn’t enough of a reason for me to return it. Still, the upgrade isn’t worth the full $600 price difference. The “massage” feels like weak air being pushed against your back, and the heat gets so hot that it becomes uncomfortable. I really wish the massage and heat functions worked better, especially considering how much more they normally cost. I also tried the Willa Plus in store, and it’s absolutely worth saving the extra $600 and choosing that model instead.

Arrived with black scuffs

Purchased the Willa with heat and massage. Were I to do it over, I would save the money on both features. The massage function doesn’t do much and is loud, so irritates my baby when it’s on. The heat is extremely hot and not adjustable at all. I weigh 125lbs and can feel all of the springs or coils in the seat. It’s a white fabric and arrived with dark scuff marks in several areas. Rocking feature does help my baby get to sleep, but it doesn’t work in recline. Not what I expected for a piece of furniture in this price range. This will likely be our first and only purchase from this brand.
