Very happy with the look of this conversion kit shade. Due to the particular style of dome light I was placing this over, it took a few tries to get the combination of extension pieces I had to the correct length. As it is recommended to leave a gap between the top of shade and the ceiling, the top of the dome light is slightly visible since it fits flush with ceiling. I actually liked that, however, as the dome light I have has a pretty leaf detail around its edge. The gap creates a glow at the top of the shade which looks good as well. I picked the oatmeal color shade which has a nice texture to the fabric of the shade. Very good for the current popular trend of the return of mid century modern style. For renters, would be easy to remove shade and replace the dome to take the shade with you to another location if moving.

Soooo much better than "boob light"
