Peplum Top with Lace Sleeves

​I absolutely love the concept for this design, and the lace is awesome. I was on the fence about whether to keep the top, but all of my colleagues loved it. I was unsure because it didn’t feel like the fit was as flattering on my body as I expected, plus the fabric was thicker than I had expected. I’m usually a medium, sometimes a large and tops, but in this one, I was surprised to need an extra large – originally, I ordered the large, and there was no way that would have worked on me. I find it a little bit short waisted, and it would probably be more flattering on a larger, chested woman; I think it fits more snuggly through the abdomen and more loosely through the chest. It works with a slim pair of high waisted pants, but you would not want to pair this shirt with a low rise. All in all, I’m excited to have a new shirt that gets compliments from my colleagues!
