I only have had a Rothy flat and was skeptical about how comfortable the espadrille would be, and have found it to be super comfortable and cute. Great summer shoe!

They are incredibly comfortable! I get compliments every time I wear them. I love that I can dress them up or down. Perfect for summer. My favorite Rothy’s yet.

Cute shoes, but not the right fit for me ⭐ I had high hopes for Rothy’s based on all the glowing reviews, and I can absolutely see why so many people love them. The quality and style are there — they just weren’t the right fit for my specific needs. First, sizing — they run a bit large for me, and the back strap doesn’t stay in place, which makes walking uncomfortable and a little insecure feeling. More importantly, I have chronic knee pain, and I found these shoes didn’t provide the support and cushioning my feet and joints need. That may not be a concern for most people, but for anyone dealing with joint issues, it’s worth keeping in mind before purchasing. This isn’t a reflection of poor quality — Rothy’s clearly has a loyal following for good reason. They just weren’t the right match for my situation. Sometimes a shoe that works beautifully for most people simply isn’t the right fit for your body’s specific needs, and that’s okay. I’d encourage others to read reviews broadly and consider your own comfort needs before ordering.
