Through years of training and thriving in hotter locations (Hawaii and South Carolina), I have always sought after the best nutritional and hydration products.
Modern Fuel Lemon Lime is now a part of my hydration routine.
As an athlete in my late forties, the importance of rest, recovery, and nutrition is heightened. Modern Fuel products are what I needed at this point in my daily athletic life.

Absolutely love this hydration and recovery drink! It tastes great, is refreshing, and really helps me feel rehydrated and recovered after a long day or workout. I’ve noticed a big difference in how I feel when I use it consistently. Definitely a product I’ll be keeping around and recommending to others!

There’s 2 sides to this review, really. There’s the performance side, and the taste side.
In terms of performance, there isn’t a product in its line that I am aware of that is as clean with no additives, filler junk, sugars, etc. This stuff is clean, it works well. Definitely worth buying, it’s good stuff and does the job well.
But then theres the taste side (and smell, really). I had a feeling when I pulled the container bag open that it was going to be a tough swallow. It got worse when I actually opened a single packet. The stuff doesnt smell good at all, and it tastes even worse. I hate to type this because I want to pull for these guys, but I am not sure how I will get through this whole bag of single serves.
Great performance. Awful taste. 3 stars.
P.S. if I mix a flavor pack (ex: crystal light) in with their single serves its much better, but that defeats the purpose because I am putting back in what they so brilliantly keep out (and is the man value proposition, right?).
