Barebow HEX Weight

On top of the perfect amount of weight for my new barebow rig, there's dampening magic going on here. The simple solid 'thud' at release is so satisfying!

Where do we start with this review, first thing is the initial packaging and presentation of the hex weight is fantastic. The box it comes in shows the actual size of the weight which is a simple but super effective way of seeing the size without opening the packaging. The zip up case and cut outs is also high quality and makes a useful pouch for storing archery related gear in. The engineering and quality of the Hex weight is fantastic, the finish is second to none. The weight can easily be stripped from 40oz to 20oz taking off the small blocks one at a time removes just over 3oz. It's a beast of a weight. More to follow but the added weight and tungsten has certainly made the bow feel nicer through the shot and feedback. Highly recommend to anyone looking to add a serious weight to thier barebow.

Got the hex weight just before heading out to field nationals but I couldn't wait till after to give it a go on the bow. It performed perfectly and I noticed immediately that it dampened the bow a bit more than the system I was running. I'm running it now with all the weight on it but its awesome that it gives me the option to take small amounts off or shift the balance to find what works best. Looking forward to playing with this a bit more.
