SC5 Hardwire Smart Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarm

Installation was simple and seems to be working fine. Regrettably doesn’t have the same motion detecting light the Nest Protects it replaces have despite having similar illumination in the middle. Not sure why they abandoned that feature as it was nice on a stairwell or walking into a dark room.

Simple install. No problems and we habe had it up for two weeks.

This replaces a new SC5 that lasted 2 months. Less features than Nest Protect. I have 5 more in the house and hopefully the one that went bad was a fluke.
