Nidhogg Bass - Ocean Mist

An absolutely beautiful looking bass and it plays like a dream. The tone is exactly what I have been looking for - a Rickenbacker zing with a lovely, raw low end. It really is perfect.

The Nidhogg Bass is really well made,. has great tone and works very well for what I needed it for. It is slightly shorter scale than my Fender. It is also much lighter. I've gigged with it once already and will again tomorrow. It's a solid choice. Baum had some customer service issues with this order. I was originally sent the Nidhogg when I ordered a Wingman. I used the payment plan to hold an instrument at a certain price and then paid it off a couple weeks later. I had to email them to get the bass shipped. When it arrived it was the wrong bass. It took about two weeks to get it sorted what I was going to do with this one and eventually I bought it. The issue was the Nidhogg was put in a Wingman box. I now have both basses they're great. The most frustrating part is when they asked to see if I could find anyone to purchase the wrong bass I was sent. It all got worked out but these were all self-inflicted mistakes Baum made. Overall I am glad I have both basses and will be using them a lot.

The order was delivered quickly and smoothly, the bass arrived in perfect condition. It sounds greatly, I like it a lot and I found it in line with what described by Baum and with reviews available on the web.
