Smells like summer in Indiana

As a Midwest girl I was so excited to get this! It smells exactly like sitting by my grandparents’ pool with the coconut and banana tanning oil.

Sunstruck is a beautiful, summery composition. It opens with creamy banana soft serve, quickly tempered by the nostalgic warmth of coconut sunscreen. Soon, the sparkling, chlorinated pool water wafts through the air, carrying the distinct scent of hot vinyl pool floats heating in the sun. The base of solar musk grounds the fragrance, keeping the entire experience soft, warm, and perfectly suited for heavy summer days. To me, Sunstruck feels beautifully, yet hauntingly liminal. The banana soft serve note is fleeting, melting away just as it would have on a scorching afternoon during childhood. The coconut sunscreen is quickly washed clean by the pool water, yet that effervescent, chlorinated air remains. It's a cheerful fragrance on the surface, but it carries a poignant undertone of melancholy, evoking all the carefree summers that have already slipped through my fingers. Ultimately, Sunstruck speaks directly to my existential dread; it captures a faded era before I even had a concept of what time truly meant. It's a summertime liminal space in a bottle.

Yummy Banana!!

Another pleasant banana fragrance I can now add to my collection. The initial spritz definitely smells like a banana sorbet ice cream and the dry-down is even more enjoyable. Like walking through the boardwalk/beach-side town after a nice day on the sand. Yum!
