I appreciate the thoughtfulness that Blazzed fitness takes in developing the equipment, I get the sense that the continue to work on making exciting equipment better vs just doing a one and done line. I often find myself going to the website to see if there is anything I. An add to my equipment vs having an obsolete piece of equipment. Thank you for that!

I added the landmine accessory to my BX2 that I recently purchased. What a great set up. I’m so glad I ordered the landmine. Because of the way it mounts to the machine I can just leave it attached all the time.

I really like the BX2 land mine attachment. The build quality is excellent, and the way it attaches is genuinely superb—very solid and clearly well designed. That said, I’m still torn on the best placement. Originally, I had it mounted on the outside of the rack. I liked that setup because it felt more open and accessible, similar to my previous rack where the attachment was on the front and easy to use. However, in that position it interferes with my ability to use the horns for plate storage, which is a major downside for my setup. The alternative is to remove it each time I want to change configurations, but that becomes impractical quickly. With 45 lb plates loaded, I’d essentially have to unload multiple plates just to take it off and reattach it for workouts, which kills efficiency. Right now I have it mounted on the inside, and functionally that works better. I can still slide my bench in and out with it attached, which helps. But my training style is very superset-heavy—especially chest and back—and this is where the compromise shows. With the attachment inside, I can’t keep the bench in the rack while doing movements like T-bar rows. I can work around it by changing exercise order, but it does slightly disrupt the flow of my supersets. On my old rack, having it mounted on the front made it extremely convenient and fast to use. The downside was that it was always in the way, which I also didn’t love. Overall, I think the Blazzed team is consistently innovative, and I completely understand the design choices behind the BX2 land mine attachment. This is more about me adjusting and finding the best workflow for my training style rather than an issue with the product itself.
