I had a little trouble understanding the going back and forth 400 years. When I got to Chapter 14, it suddenly made a lot characters make sense. Maybe it also helps that I am reading Isaiah and Job at the same time. I am definitely understanding the series a lot better.

Another of the series Jerico that is a great read! Faith-based, it is better than most secular fiction I have read in a long time. James is a wonderful story teller and I look forward to reading more from him in the future.

I really enjoyed the other series by this author. However, I just don't like this book. It is very difficult to follow all the jumping back and forth. I read and stopped. Later, I pick up and read some more. Just not my style of writing. Even knowing that it is painting a good message, I just don't enjoy reading it. Sorry! Not for me.
