This is actually very different than what I expected, but it was a good different. It wasn’t as sweet as I anticipated, but that made it even better a little more grown-up and good for the summer. I think it will be a summer go to.

Finally, the Creamy Banana Perfume I've Been Looking For...

I've been on the hunt for a creamy sweet banana perfume for years at this point. Usually in fragrance, banana is done in a more green and tropical context (think Kayali Maui in a Bottle). I thought Ellis Brooklyn's Banana Milkshake would surely be what I was looking for but nope. It was more just vanilla milkshake than anything. Now, here we are with Banana Delice - a $28 perfume from Le Monde Gourmand - and it's doing more heavy lifting than any of these other more expensive brands! I can't believe it. This is a sweet, creamy, vanillic banana scent but the banana note is actually prominent throughout the entire wear. It isn't just vaguely there and it doesn't just vanish right away after a few minutes of wear either. I am so impressed by this release from LMG and if you've been on the hunt for this kind of banana perfume like me, trust me, you've come to the right place!! You've finally found it!

Unexpected but delicious

I don't get any banana from this, but I still love it! I was expecting a creamy banana milkshake but to me, this smells like a tropical fruit scented bar of soap. On initial spray, I smell a juicy pineapple with a soapy quality to it. Light, sweet, and very tropical but no identifiable banana. As it dries down, it turns into a more creamy, tropical soapy musk. Some of the vanilla and tonka bean start to come through. Overall, this fragrance is light, sweet, and clean. Perfect for summer!
