Spent some serious time with this.
I don't write many reviews and I was one of the first run owners of this guitar. I am a sucker for hard tail guitars with nitro finishes (I got the black matte finish) and this thing DELIVERS. The pickups have just the right output for the music I play and the balance is really nice. Bravo Woodrite, you killed it with this design. I sold my SG standard because I really don't ever want to play it anymore. :D

The Switchblade HT is perfect for me, right out of the box it's ready to go! Both guitarists in my band Amanita use Woodrite Guitars. They are top notch quality and come with really nice cases.

Built for Heavy, Ready for Anything
The Switchblade HT comes set up in C standard right out of the case, and that immediately sets the tone: this guitar is built for heavy music. Doom, sludge, big crushing metal, it feels at home there from the first chord. In terms of overall quality, it easily stands next to much more expensive big-name brands. You can tell this isn't a budget instrument trying to look high-end. It ships in a hardcase, properly set up and ready to play. No need for an immediate trip to a tech before enjoying it, which is always a good sign. The Black Satin finish is especially well done : understated, classy, but with that dark and aggressive vibe that fits the guitar perfectly. It looks great without trying too hard. The neck is the biggest highlight for me. Upper fret access is excellent, with zero struggle. It has enough thickness to feel solid for heavy riffing, but it's still fast. You can go from crushing riffs to lead or shred without fighting the instrument. Tuning stability is rock-solid, even with hard picking and big bends. The Barbarian humbuckers really deliver. Clean tones are clear and usable. With gain, they shine : strong output, tight response, and most importantly, a low end that stays defined. Even under high gain or thick fuzz, the sound doesn't turn to mud. This is clearly a guitar made for heavy styles. Metal, doom, sludge, that's where it excels. But it doesn't box you into one style. If you're into fast leads or technical playing, it keeps up just fine. A serious instrument, built to handle low tunings, high volume, and real-world playing.
