Broccoli Seeds - Waltham 29 (Organic)

I had 2 5 pound bags of non organic seeds. The first bag sprouted wonderfully well but when I opened the second bag , I tried five times and they would sprout but live only three or four days and then starts to smell very bad and I threw them out. These were replaced by 2 1 pound bags. Of the same variety in organic I tried both bags and got the same results of sprouts that grew for a few days then started to smell very bad and stopped growing. I’m using my well water which I believe is fine. I can’t dismiss the possibility that I might be doing something wrong, but I have had good success with other brands of broccoli seeds, as well as the True Leaf broccoli seeds that I purchased through Amazon and most of the seeds I bought from True Leaf I had success with. I will place an order through Amazon for True Leaf Market Broccoli Seeds and give them another chance. Thank you.
