Florentine Mini Satchel

Love the style and size of the bag. This is my 4th Florentine Satchel. However this one falls short of the quality I’ve come to know with Dooney and Bourke. My bag arrived with a terrible plastic and chemical smell, even after airing out for a couple weeks it just smells horrible, not like the goegeous Italian leather I’m used to with the Florentine collection. The material also feels cheap and thin. I’m not sure if its just this particular color or if Dooney is cheaping out but I’ll unfortunately be returning this particular bag as it is not worth the price.

Highly disappointed in the quality of the bag . It had scratches and black marks on it . Not to mention to return this it would cost me a fee . Needless to say i did return the pocket book and purchased another one . I am happy i did because the new one is perfect!!

This is a truly beautiful bag with classic elegance. I already own the same style in natural leather in the micro size, and I had hoped to find it in black. Now, I have it in black in the mini, and I’m excited to purchase it in other colors soon. The buttery soft leather and timeless design ensure this bag will remain a cherished piece in my collection. Dooney & Bourke bags are definitely worth owning for their durability, style, and sizes to fit everyone's needs. Also, I want to point out that there is some small creasing in the front of the bag just below the smile and above the DB patch. It's not terrible; it's not really noticeable, and a small shine-type scratch on the back that is also unnoticeable unless you're looking for it. However, I do understand that the bag should be scratch-free, but this is some soft, beautiful, and durable leather, so we should expect marks of some type. That's the beauty of good quality leather.
