Tomato Seeds - Slicing - Jet Star Hybrid

Healthy plants, hardly any fruit

Im always on the hunt for a tomato that I can try in my very short, cold climate. We live at the mouth of the canyon, 6000 ft elevation, under the "shadow" of the mountain. My growing season being shorter than most (zone 5b, last frost June 3rd, first frost Sept. 11th), tomatoes barely are beginning to blush when out first frost hits. I started the Jet Star tomato indoors. Germination was good, near 100%. Plants grew well indoors until I transplanted outdoors. Plants grew big, but didnt not set as many fruits as other plants in the same growing conditions. I won't be growing this one again.

All my seeds (so far) from True Leaf Market have been great and these Jet Star hybrid seeds were no exception. 100% germination. Strong plants. This is my 4th year growing them and, although most of my tomatoes are heirloom, this is a great hybrid for excellent productivity and a beautiful tennis ball to baseball-size fruit. Shipping was fast and customer service was great.
