Real Big Beef Starts

Quality seeds. I planted a tray of 48 seeds, using only 1 seed in each hole and had only 1 hole that didn't come up. The Hybrid seedlings are uniform, healthy, and growing well. The tray next to this had 48 open pollinated "beef seeds" planted the same time, same everything and 1/3 of that tray didn't germinate. Those that did are irregular and slower than the hybrid Big Beef! These Hybrids are doing better so far and they were all planted and treated the same about 2 weeks ago. It is early to say, but it is already looking like these Hybrid Big Beef will do better than the non hybrid!
