Switching modes
I’m having a hard time switching from one mode to the next . There is plenty of battery life left, but it never wants to start the next task that I want it to do. I don’t if it’s me or the vacuum. Overall I’m very pleased with it. It has done a great job so far cleaning the pool.

This is a solid pool cleaner but perfect. Overall I think it is good to very good. I have owned a Pentair pressure side cleaner and a Dolphin corded robot. The pressure side clean was great for the floor but only good for the sides and could not do the water line. The Dolphin was a great cleaner but required replacement parts often and eventually failed at the power box. And having to deal with the cord made it a pain to clean.
Now for the Beatbot. I love that it is cordless. Easy to put in the pool and easy to remove, cleaning is a breeze. Love the large basket. It does ok on the floors. I am surprised by the debris it leaves behind. It does a good job on the walls and waterline. It appears to do a great job skimming the surface. I have a large pool (34k gallons) and it can do the floor, walls and skim in about 5 hours on one charge. It also recharges very fast. I am hopeful that a software upgrade may be coming soon that it might do a better job on the floor of the pool. One final thing, it has a tendency to hit the side of my pool often which has left the two front corners scraped and scuffed. At this price point it should have bumpers.
