I would have given the Beatbot Sora 70 five stars if it weren’t for one frustrating issue: the Wi-Fi connection does not work once the robot is submerged in water. During my research, I came across several complaints about this exact problem, but I decided to purchase it anyway. I’m glad I did! When it comes to cleaning, this thing is an absolute machine! We use the Sora 70 in our 27-foot above-ground pool, and it was recently put to a serious test. With fall leaves dropping, we ended up with far more leaves in the pool than I would have liked. Rather than cleaning them out myself, I decided to see just how well the robot could handle the mess. I was genuinely impressed! Not only did it do a fantastic job cleaning the pool, but I was honestly surprised by the amount of leaves it managed to collect. It exceeded my expectations. As for the wall-climbing feature, I would rate it as fair to good in our above-ground pool. There are times when it struggles to make it up the walls, which I suspect has something to do with the pool liner. However, for the most part, it does a respectable job. I can’t fairly comment on the surface-skimming feature yet, as I’ve only used it once. I’d rather get more experience with it before giving an opinion. A few things that really stand out are the powerful cleaning performance, exceptionally long battery life, and overall ease of use once you become familiar with the machine. Would I recommend the Beatbot Sora 70? Absolutely! If you’re looking for a powerful, reliable robotic pool cleaner that can handle a serious amount of debris, this is an excellent choice. Just understand the Wi-Fi limitation before purchasing. If having constant connectivity while the robot is underwater is important to you, that could be a dealbreaker. For me, the cleaning performance more than makes up for that inconvenience. Fix the Wi-Fi issue, and this would easily be a five-star product in my book!

Very close to very good

I’d sometimes like to select two of the modes for example floor and surface clean only to run as a batch because I don’t need the walls scrubbed every single time. I think the remote control mode is a nice idea but basically impossible on surface mode, otherwise cleans very well and whilst it doesn’t always get everything off the surface (unsure it it is able to scan the surface to know it’s gone everywhere but doesn’t feel that way) it gets most of what is there

Good Pirchase

It does a good job gathering the leaves from the pool. I have a new pool so there is a lot of fine plaster and of course we still building around the pool so there dirt that settles in the pool as well that doesn’t get vacuum up like I hope. However, surface cleaning and waterline it does a good job. Parking has made picking it up easy.
