This is quite a chunky and substantial ring, very noticeable on the hand. The high calibre ametrine has to be pièce de résistance here, with the perfect and prominent split of gold and dramatic purple, in an impressive style of cushion cut (listed as the 'bridge cut'), with gorgeous long rectangular facets gradually raising in the centre of the stone.
