I have grown these peppers ever since I graduated from NMSU. They have always been reliable, germinate well and do well under a grow light until I can set them out. This year my seeds had about a 85% germination and took three weeks to get their true leaves. Most are still sitting with few leaves. All of the rest of my peppers are doing fine.

Very good rate of germination, but be patient.
They arrived quickly and were exactly as described. I've planted some of them and the germination rate is very good. I will say that if the temperature is cool, some will germinate slower than others. Peppers prefer warm soil for germination. I don't keep my house that hot, so at first I thought the germination rate was poor, so I reseeded the cells in the growing tray - two seeds per cell. Now, I have three and four plants coming out of the cells that I re-seeded. Next time I either use a heating mat, or just exercise a little patience. If the room you're starting seeds is cool, they will take longer to germinate.
