Creosote: A Story and Place
Upgraded from a Discovery Set to a full bottle of Creosote. My initial reaction was “that’s nice, I respect this fragrance,” so was honestly tepid at first. On my second wear, and as the fragrance dried down throughout the day, I kept coming back to it. THIS FRAGRANCE TELLS A STORY. I am the CFO of a niche fragrance brand and so crave houses like this. Bruno is doing something interesting and is evoking a place to accompany the scent. Creosote brought me back to my younger years in the American Southwest. This is the type of scent that is genuinely unique and will have people asking what it is.

My New Favorite
This is my first FZOTIC purchase. I let the description woo me and purchased it without experiencing the fragrance first, I'm happy to share how pleased I am. Sometimes I've forgotten I'm wearing it and the earthy, desert scent will unexpectedly delight me anew. Another reviewer mentioned they liked it on their partner and I could see that being true but I'm not as willing to share. It looks great on the shelf too!

This becomes a lovely skin scent.
Although I always enjoy the smell of rain (especially on cement), I would normally avoid scents with Petrichor. They would normally come out too earthy-smelling or overpower the other notes.
Creosote by FZOTIC has found a lovely balance of the Petrichor within this fragrance. In the first spritz, one can smell the rain hitting the desert ground, then, magically, the scent blends into a soft woody floral finish.
