Disappointing Return Experience and Unusable Store Credit

Overall, my experience was very disappointing, and I will not be placing another order. I acknowledge that I should have read the return policy more carefully. However, I was extremely frustrated to receive a $14.71 store credit instead of a refund to my original method of payment. The store credit is of little value to me because I would need to place another order and meet the company's minimum purchase requirement to qualify for free shipping. In other words, I would have to spend approximately $150 more just to use a credit that should have been refunded directly to me. I have already placed orders totaling over $350, and I do not feel it is reasonable to require customers to make additional purchases in order to access the value of a return. As a result of this experience, this will be my last time ordering from this company. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the company to others based on how this return was handled. Very disappointing experience.
