high volume tire with great looks
For such a high volume tire, it’s amazing how fast and lightweight they ride. The looks of the tan wall reminds me of the old classic Conti tire side wall when they were darker brown. Personally I prefer the darker tan wall color compared with some of the newer model tires that are the color of a rubber band or a #2 pencil eraser lol

Everything I expected!!
I have ridden and loved the Alluvium. Then I purchased a Diverge that had pathfinders on it and they were a hard tire to argue for mixed surface rides, especially if they were tarmac heavy. Then Kenda released the Crusher and I was due for new tires on the Gravel bike. First ride out on them was 36 mile mostly Gravel ride. They did not disappoint, on some of the ruddy/muddy sections they held traction and rolled great on the smoother gravel sections. There was about 8 miles of tarmac and they center line performed well. I am happy with the move to the Crusher from the Pathfinder.

Love Kenda Crushers!
I bought the 40c 120tpi Kenda Crushers for my gravel bike and immediately felt the difference in performance and comfort. I'd been riding dirt roads with sandy stretches in North Florida, and my stock tires would slip in sand - the tires were more like slick road bike tires. The Crushers fixed that problem! I no longer spin out in sand when I stand on my pedals, and the tires provide good cornering traction too. I ride paved roads occasionally, as well, and I can really scoot with the tires fully inflated. I've owned Continental, Maxxis, and other pricier tires on other bikes, but these Kendas suit my riding style for this gravel bike nicely.
