Misleading offer

The metal art signs are super cool. When I added the 2 signs to my cart I was shown a "special offer" to get $4.95 off a $44.95 book purchase. I was excited so I added the book. I didn't realize the discount to the book wasn't applied. Customer service is telling me they won't honor the offer. Oh, well. Guess I'm one and done with Pediment. Nice products, shady customer service.
