Dressco Blue Onion Skin Paper Notebook – B6

A fluffy, squishy and wonderous writing experience!

I do really love this paper. It takes fountain pen ink wonderfully (one sided only obviously with significant ghosting but little bleed through except with really wet wet inks - but I'm more than okay with that); as well as taking almost any other media I've thrown at it so far (watercolours, gels, pencils, acrylic ink). Extra Fine and Fine nibs need a pencil board because the pillowy soft paper will tend to catch the tips, but medium and broad nibs are sublime if you want that extra bit of pillowiness (is that a word?). The paper softness does invite you to indulge in a slower writing process. It captures the different qualities of the ink superbly and is a lush ASMR delight afterwards when leafing through the pages!

Ruffled Touch, and Ripple-like

I like the natural slightly ruffled touch of the paper, light and ripple like. The thin paper might make it possible to do some tracing. Came beautifully wrapped in Furoshiki as always.
