Let me start with this is a fragrance I am growing to love. I have tried several designer fragrances, but am feeling called to live more in line with my values, so I wanted to try this perfume oil. As I've had fragrances before with several of the notes that are present in Quintessence, I thought I might really enjoy it. I love the intentionality and care with which it is crafted! Others who have smelled it on me said that it was a really nice fragrance on me, fresh, and woody. I think the bergamot and patchouli are probably what I'm smelling the most on my skin (I'm not a fragrance expert lol). There are lovelyyyyy layers of the resins and woody notes that come through, but aren't as present on my skin, though it can change a bit at times. It is a LONG lasting, close to the skin fragrance. I am really enjoying this perfume because it is helping me reevaluate my priorities in my personal fragrance usage while being a very pleasant scent. I can totally see where the "softness/edge, circle/point" analogies are coming from and am curious to see how the Quintessence candle is when it arrives. A winner for me, bravo Tu Et Al! ^_^
