Orion XTRPRO-SW10D4 – 10 Inch Dual 4 Ohm Shallow Subwoofer | 600W RMS Bass Power

This sub hits hard! I replaced a 2 Ohm single VC at 300 RMS because it felt underwhelming and couldn’t really handle the power from my Audio Control LC 8.100 mono block. I wired the Orion dual voice coils in parallel (+\+ and -/-) to stay at 2 Ohms and I feel like I get 4-6 db more out this sub. - it’s in a .7 ftq3 sealed enclosure from BRP Audio Designs. If you’re looking for a hard hitting sub - you want an SPL (sound pressure level) rather than an SQL (sound quality level) - the SPL is really what moves air. I freaking love this sub
