All you need
Does I great job and is very convenient. No extra fillers or waste. If not for this I would probably use pods but this is no less convenient really I just keep an extra teaspoon in the bag and can dose as much or as little as I need including the prewash tray.

Saved me hundreds of dollars
The wife was sick of the dishwasher not doing a good job of cleaning using the "big brand" detergents so much that she wanted to buy a new dishwasher.
Switching to this actually good quality detergent has the dishes coming out so much better! No need for a new dishwasher (at least for a while yet).

Great cleaning product, very powdery and expensive
Cleaning power alone, this product gets 5 stars. However it gets knocked down two stars for two things:
1, the powder (at least for the first run sold November 2025) is very fine and creates little dishwasher powder clouds when opening/closing the package and scooping and dropping the powder in the dishwasher. I've gotten too close on occasion and inhaled some. Not sure if there's a way to make it less fine and less prone to "poofing". An occasional inhalation won't do me harm, I'm sure, but I have to keep my curious kittens with their tiny lungs well away from the dishwasher come loading time.
2, the cost. I love to support energy efficient and eco friendly products, but ouch, this one stings the wallet. When the product was first released I was able to snag a discount on 4 packages, and after running through them all I've come here to (initially) stock up again. But after seeing 4 packs cost just north of $100, that $6 box of powdered Cascade looks mighty fine.
Ultimately I decided not to purchase more, which is a shame, because really, this is an excellent cleaning product. I'll keep an eye out for discounts, but for now we're switching back to good ol' Cascade.
