Definite upgrade from OG Skytrak. Shots register insantly and the pickup rate is MUCH better. Took some tweaking--make sure the machine is high enough if it's not actually on your mat--I had mine adjusted too low and once I fixed that it worked beautifully. Still working through the new data and have not tried speed training yet but nice to have the options. Now that the price is below $2K, if you are indoors with limited room behind, there is no better option.

A Solid Unit

The new Skytrak Max feels a bit over more solid and ready for its place in my home simulator setup. The key to this is the dual USB-C port configuration. The fact that there is a dedicated port of both data connection and a separate one for power is the key. Overall, the same hardware otherwise however the better CPU also provides slightly faster response times to registering swings. Any of the prior charging issues seem to have been alieveated. Very pleased.
