Dior Homme Parfum 2025

Fast shipping and well packaged!

The shipping was incredibly fast! The decant is quality, well labeled and I actually like Dior Homme 2025! I had ordered the pre-2025 version from Chaos a few weeks ago and it's very different, but I like this one too.

I had to wash it off..

I just bought a sample of DHP'25, and DHP'14/20. I decided I wanted to try this one on its own merit, so I sampled it first on my skin. Immediately I was greeted with a strange bitter/sour smell that never went away. I felt like there was a good smell here, but it was hidden behind the bitter/sour. The smell is STRONG, much stronger than the DHP'14/20 version I tried the next day, but because of the off smell I couldn't stand to have it on my skin and I had to wash it off after maybe 2 hours. I don't know how Dior allowed this to be released, I don't see it selling much.

Beyond disappointing.

Firstly, the service from Chaos Fragrances was as superb as ever, getting this to me in super quick time. Wanted to test it to see if it was full bottle worthy as someone who adores DHP 2020 and it’s sadly everything I feared it would be. I’m sure it’ll be a massive success as it seems like they’ve formulated this to be a next step and introduction to Dior for kids who got into fragrances through JPG Le Male Le Parfum or Elixir and want to move on to more exclusive brands. Just a massive fail for me, departing entirely from the Dior HOMME Parfum legacy and heading off down a mass market path that probably makes more sense for the brand. Honestly, by the dry down this may as well have been Drakkar Intense on my skin, not a near $200 Dior fragrance. And this coming from someone who thought Sauvage Eau Forte was a worthwhile addition to the line and bought a bottle…
