This is the best quality boxing glove I have ever used, compared to the rayes that can be bought everywhere now. The quality and production of gil leather can be said to be very good. I like its color. The biggest feature is that when I hit a heavy sandbag, it gives me a sense of strike and protection that other gloves do not have. I have had many gloves, including rival rs1, ringside and everlast. But when they hit the sandbags with all their strength, they didn't have as much support and protection as the gil gloves. I like the feeling of fighting.

GIL gloves - so far the best of many

For the last 5 years I have heavily used Ringside Heritage, Rival and Cleto Reyes. GIL beats them all. More comfortable, much better protection, awesome thumb and palm positioning within the glove. So far they look as they would outlast the Cletos I am retiring now.

Gil Hybrid Gloves are very poor quality

Before I even hit the bag or pads with these for the first time, the label on the glove started to peel off. I purchased these gloves after reading Necallis description of these "high quality gloves". I am very disappointed that they are already peeling off after only shadowboxing with the gloves. I have boxed for many many years and have never had a glove start to come apart prior to hitting the bag.
