Don’t judge it the first time you use it!

I’ll be honest I was really unhappy about the grit being adjusted I was expecting a very gritty surface based on the YouTube videos from 10 months ago. I complained to customer support and really after hitting it the first time and then receiving their response and explanation I was pretty sure I was going to return it. I went out a second day with it and it started to feel pretty good especially the control and spin. I have elite paddle speed so this paddle really rewards players who have that by day three I wasn’t missing anything hitting spot after spot from both wings. The only thing I wish it had more of was raw power perhaps the weights will help I didn’t purchase those but I have natural power so the loss of a couple mph isnt a big deal for me. What I needed was more spin and control which this paddle gives. I definitely recommend it if you have a similar game I’m an athletic baseliner so hopefully this solves my issue and I can turn pro eventually that’s the goal.

The best paddle I’ve had so far! Beautiful control and gives me the perfect speed and control I need. I tell everyone to get it! This is by far the best out of all the paddles I have bought. I love 6.0!

What happened?

I have been a huge fan of Six Zero. I have a Black Diamond, Double Black Diamond, a Pro Black Diamond, and a Ruby. All great paddles and have their specific place in my game. When I first saw and experienced the Ruby Pro 14. I was impressed. I am a spin player and use it to my advantage for sure. So the Ruby Pro with the crazy gritty surface was appealing to say the least. I waited a few months before ordering and when I received the Ruby Pro I was surprised! What happened to the famous grit? It’s not at all like the ones from a few months ago. And neither is the spin. Very disappointed. It is a good all around paddle but not ground breaking in power, spin, or control. I will likely send it back. Six Zero is a great company. But this one is not great.
