I love the boots they are great very comfortable. However thry do seem to run s little big and I didn’t have time to exchange thrm as I needed them the day after they arrived. I got a lot of compliments on them

These boots are as beautiful in person as they are online. The walking heel is approximately 1. 5 inches. The shaft is quite tall - I measured closer to 18 inches (rather than the 17" listed). These are tall boots for tall legs. These boots are made for walking and that's just what I plan to do!
