These are solid looking mounts for my 98 XJ especially compared to the stock new mounts I had. The play was brought to a minimum as soon as they got put in, but oh man there were a pain to install. To even get them to fit I had to light sand the spacers on each side, it may be possible the mounts were slightly pushed in but reguardless that was a slight problem, didn't take to much just a few minutes of sanding. But getting them lined up took several pry bars and my 300 pound friend. But once they were in they were in. I would buy again.
