Jesse Wide-leg Pocket Pants in TENCEL™ Linen

Exceeded expectations!

I bought these pants because I don’t have the prettiest legs due to eczema scars and wanted more long pants for my wardrobe. I’m also well into my “mum in her 30s” era so the wide legged cutting really sold it for me 😅 I was a bit apprehensive getting these due to the price but I really needed some “red tone” outfits and decided that this would do - it totally exceeded my expectations because my legs look great in these pants! The length was perfect for my height (162cm), and the waist (not tightened) was also perfect for my 56kg self! I also love that if I ever decide to be more consistent with working out and losing weight, I can simply tighten the waist portion and still be able to wear these pants!! Will be wearing these often and if I’m still in love with them down the road, I will for sure be getting more stuff from olive basics!

Comfy and flattering, even for a postpartum bod

Brought this on my cruise vacay, and I loved being in it! It felt really comfortable when I was mostly indoors. The weather these days is no joke. On hotter days, I wear the shorts version (Joanna). Pricing is on the higher side but I must say 一分钱一分货 (you get what you pay for). I also love that it's adjustable, so in case I lose weight some months (or years *gasps*) down the line I can still wear this. I expect to wear this (and Joanna!) for a long time to come :)

Unique product design, not perfect but I’m quite happy

I really liked the thoughtful design with the adjustability at the waistband. The pants are generally comfortable and I feel quite good wearing them. Some things to watch out for/areas for improvement include: 1) making the hemline adjustable with buttons so that people who are even shorter can still wear them. 2) using a fabric less prone to wrinkling as I find that it holds wrinkles for a while. 3) it’s not super breathable but generally fine if I’m not spending a long time outdoors in the Singapore weather
