Gleam Frame Camera Set

Avoid this overpriced junk!!!! The fit of the clear case is terrible. 275 dollars for essentially a piece of brass and plastic that doesnt even line up correctly. The plastic shell has terrible QC. The little indicator icons on the shell of the camera are all just circle dots so you have no idea what the switches even do, as there is also no manual. Also the shutter switch is absolutely impossible to press - as a 220 pound man i have to squeeze the shutter button on the front of the camera so hard that i feel like im going to break it. Also the “viewfinder” is just a hole cut out of the board and case….legit just a hole, no nice lens or anything - again people I paid 275 for this camera… ALSO, even in semi bright environments the pictures take a full second to capture so forget any potential action shots. Overall terrible craftsmanship and I’m honestly quite disappointed. Avoid this company until they take peoples money seriously.

I love this bundle. The brass frame with the internals make for a great conversation piece and an opportunity to talk about digital detoxing. I appreciate the fact that modern phones offer amazing photos, but I forgot how fun a digi cam as well as disposables. I love the idea od living in the moment and having some well-lived in pics to record the moment. The wrist strap is pretty. I did order some filter cards because you might as well. It super easy to use and I have approached it as something to take along with me and use as I live in the moment. I see the intention of this cam and it matches with my intentions.

A VERY curious camera. As an artist who learned on film and transitioned to digital quite early postgrad I love this camera as it gives me the nostalgics for Holga type cameras and other early antique snapshot camera from early on in the handheld camera history. Barebones and exciting as to what might manifest-here’s the catch-it’s all good in the light! Lovely camera design and FUN!! Plus it’s good to have another tool that’s unpredictable at times-a little challenge these days of crispness is welcome!
