I own both, the 6 foot and 8 foot Heather’s Hero lead and love them both. We have 2 dogs with a very high prey drive and they will chase after squirrels, birds and cats. When we use the Heather’s Hero lead, it’s like a switch has been flipped. They calm down immediately. Our 10 month old English Springer Puppy has been training on this lead and will be taking her AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy certification soon.

I was skeptical, I had tried every harness, Martingale, e-collar, private training. My Lab/Border Collie can do amazing things, but she could never loose leash walk. We got kicked out of agility because she couldn’t stay at my side and wait her turn. Walks were stressful and hard on my body. With the Sidekick, I am able to enjoy walking with her. She’s a work in progress but the Sidekick has been a game changer!
