The two Chicago Hardy Fig trees arrived in very good condition in spite of being sent to Houston, Texas in July. Occasional ten-degree Fahrenheit freezes here destroy the tops of some fig trees and the roots as well of tender varieties like California Mission Fig. The Chicago Hardy has a purple color and "jam" fruit quality which sound close to the Mission fig, so I look forward to the fruit of this much hardier relative of the Mission Fig.

Got two small trees delivered and both came very healthy and in great shape. Replanted them and both are doing well. I bought a single plant from another online seller and paid twice as much and it arriver half dead. When I complained they told me that it would probably survive. Based on my experience buy from Easy To Grow!
