Everything went great.

I have only only one sort of complaint and that is that I ordered a rudder for my Mercury and because I thought (wrongly as it turned out) that it would just be the rudder I ordered the parts as well. It would have been nice if someone had said the rudder comes complete guy you don't need the other parts. But being as I am on my second skeg spring you can never have too many spares. Oh yes and I could, no matter how I tried set up the skeg control unit. It has four clicks and this was neither enough to get the skeg fully down or up. I in the end used the old top which turns continuously. It works.
