Catie's Bubbles La Terre Verte Shaving Collection

My first CB offering. I had been eyeing this one for a while based on the notes. I wish it had less menthol because the initial splash smells just like cough medicine to me. (I don’t detect any brace from the companion soap.) The dry down is decidedly better with a creamy (not dry woodsy) sandalwood that I prefer. The patchouli note gives it the earthiness you’d associate with the aptly named: ‘the green earth.’ I’d rock an EDP offering esp. if it aligned with the soap. It does offer a billowy lather with plenty of slickness & CB is known for its post-shave goodness. And I’d gladly embark on more of CB’s line-up. They’ve been a reliable artisan for well over a decade & rightfully so. And Pasteur’s shipping is lightening fast - showed up three days ahead of the USPS ETA. Thanks Leon & Crew!!
