The first lures loony spoons I purchased (thru Amazon) had a different white color on the underside. It was an actual light absorbing glow paint. These newer ones are different. They are a brighter white and will undoubtedly be visible at depth but I do not see the glow and they do not seem to be as effective a lure as the first ones were. If you have changed paint please go back to the former glow white.
