Akzentz Diamond Shine-On Top Gloss

Akzentz original is amazing and this new one is even better. The shine on this top coat is incredible.

I had been using the original silver label for eternity and never had a problem except that it would dull out after about three weeks. So when they came out with this, I was like great. I trusted that it would be just as good of quality. Wrong! it IS super shiny and it stays shiny, BUT(!) it chips after 1-3 weeks opposed to its predecessor, which never(ever) chips. This one seems to have compromised strength for extended shine. Imo I put strength ahead of extended shine. So to each their own. I guess it depends on the frequency in which your clients return. Most of my clients are 3 to 5 weeks so they need that strength and extra shine would be nice but surface wear/minimal scratching is expected after 3 to 5 weeks(plus I’ve never heard a complaint about the lack of shine, it’s just something I see at the appointments and I wish they would be shinier.) I will be returning to the old silver label.
