I've never used one of these before but I think it's doing what it's supposed to do. I kind of wish it would stay a little bit better when I put it on but after it's on my head under my do-rag for a while it stays okay. But when you first put it on it easily slips off. Just keep a hand on it or hold your head at an angle that makes it not fall. It does exactly what it's supposed to do which is sit on your crown
